A “yellow” level of weather danger has been declared in St. Petersburg. This was reported by the press service of Smolny with reference to data from the Roshydrometcenter.
The warning period is valid until 18:00 on January 8. The snow and ice warning is in effect until 9 p.m. It will snow in places. Ice warnings are in effect until January 10, 21:00.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of St. Petersburg warned residents and guests of the Northern capital about the difficult situation on the roads. The department noted that on the first working day after the holidays it is better to drive cars without sudden maneuvers.
