ABB and Cleanwatts signed a cooperation agreement – technocrat

The collaboration focuses on the implementation of projects in key markets in Europe and on providing users and property operators with intelligent monitoring and control solutions for efficient and sustainable energy use.

The two companies will develop solutions that combine Cleanwatts’ advanced energy sharing platform with ABB’s high-quality energy management technology, including the InSite energy management system, energy meters, sensors and EV chargers. By utilizing the capabilities of the two parties, both companies will offer a unified and scalable solution for the coordination of renewable energy production, energy storage and energy-efficient operation.

The cooperation brings significant benefits to the members of the energy community, including lower energy costs through the optimized consumption of self-produced renewable energy, the reduction of electricity connection fees and the minimization of electricity peaks, as well as the efficiency and by increasing its performance. There is an opportunity to seamlessly manage local energy use, control devices and loads, use demand response tools and access energy trading solutions.

“Within the framework of the collaboration, the two parties offer a joint solution combining ABB’s energy management technology with Cleanwatts’ AI-based energy sharing platforms, which provides significant benefits to communities and residents alike in key markets.”

– said Laura Socci, Global Portfolio Manager at ABB Energy Distribution Digital Solutions.

“This landmark partnership will bring the most advanced energy management optimization solutions to both leaders and investors in the energy community.”

“We are committed to transforming communities and industries towards a sustainable and efficient future. This partnership allows us to develop our software solutions with ABB’s energy management portfolio, creating a seamless integration that optimizes energy consumption and promotes sustainability”

– said Luisa Matos, CEO of Cleanwatts.

“Together we will shape the future of sustainable energy, revolutionize energy management and be at the forefront of the energy transition.”
