According to the latest polls, Harris is ahead of Trump – World – News

US Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris leads the latest national polls ahead of her Republican rival, former President Donald Trump. One of the polls indicates a close fight. TASR informs about it according to a Reuters report.

Six weeks before the election, Harris was supported by 48 percent of people and Trump by 47 percent, according to an SSRS poll for CNN. This suggests that it will be a close race for the White House.

The survey was conducted between September 19 and 22 on a sample of 2,074 registered voters. Its statistical margin is three percentage points.

In an Ipsos poll conducted for Reuters, Harris gained a lead of six percentage points. In the survey, she was supported by 46.6 percent of respondents and Trump by 40.5 percent.

In it, Harris got a slightly higher lead than in the previous Ipsos poll for Reuters on September 12. At that time, she was ahead of Trump by five percentage points.

The latest Ipsos poll ran for three days and ended on Monday. 1,029 adults, including 871 registered voters, participated via the Internet. Its statistical deviation is around four percent.

Similar national surveys are an important insight into voter attitudes. The winner of the November elections will be determined by the Electoral College according to the results in individual American states.

The results in the seven states (so-called swing states), which are not decided by the voters, will probably be decisive, according to the Reuters agency. They are Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Arizona, Nevada and Wisconsin. Trump leads in three — Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina, according to the latest poll by The New York Times and Siena College.
