The Room Next Door, starring Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore, premiered in cinemas in Finland at the beginning of November.
Tilda Swinton plays the second lead role in Pedro Almodóvar’s first English-language film, The Room Next Door, which was released in Finland a couple of weeks ago. The film is about a dying woman who asks her friend to be by her side in her last moments.
Swinton herself thinks that the film may be her last, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
“I always think that every film is my last. I don’t want to bring bad luck to anything because I’ve had so much fun from start to finish. I always think this was a good way to end. Let’s stop now that everything is fine. And I feel that way today too. I feel that The Room Next Door is the last film I will make. We’ll see if anything else happens,” commented Swinton.
IMDb says that there will be at least one more film from Swinton after the Almodóvar novelty. Coming up is Edward Berger’s The Ballad of a Small Player, in which Swinton will be seen alongside Colin Farrell. The release date for the film has not yet been announced.
