Playwright and TV chef Adam Price has no intention of suing Katherine Diez, who has described intimate details from their past relationship in a book.
He writes this in a column in Weekendavisen on Sunday.
– The rotation in the media machine is so fast that stories are worn out in no time. Therefore, it will be a no thank you to a lawsuit from my side, it says, among other things.
He has previously called the book a “deliberate violation” of privacy.

A little over a month ago, he wrote in a post on Instagram that he had not yet decided whether “the infringement should have legal consequences”.
Price formed a couple with Katherine Diez from 2022 to the beginning of 2024, where she was the center of a case of plagiarism in, among other things, Berlingske columns and posts on her Instagram profile.
The book, which was published in early October, has, according to Price, had “some completely unreasonable consequences” for those close to him.
Katherine Diez describes, among other things, that they were both unfaithful during their relationship. In the chronicle, Price writes that there was infidelity, but that “it belongs to private life”.
At the same time, he maintains that he still disagrees with the publisher People’s Press about what can be written in a book.
According to Price, two weekdays before the planned publication, he was presented with a short extract of the book, which he was allowed to read.
People’s publishing director, Line Miller, has previously written in an email to Politiken that Adam Price has had enough time to “make objections, also legally, if you believe that the material can be challenged based on, for example, a violation of privacy”.
She therefore does not believe that the publisher has “handled the matter recklessly or frivolously”.
In the book, Katherine Diez also talks about a cocaine addiction, violently unpleasant sexual experiences, a sometimes insecure childhood and an eating disorder.
In addition to Adam Price, Katherine Diez has also previously formed a couple with former minister Dan Jørgensen (S).
The book contains private details about both relationships.
