Adobe has come up with a way to protect content from being used by artificial intelligence

The free Adobe Content Authenticity web app will work as part of the Adobe Content Credentials platform, which integrates metadata into content about the author, owner of the work, and the use of AI to create it.

The tool can be applied to any files, not just those created using Adobe technologies. Content Authenticity is integrated into all Creative Cloud apps that support content credentials, including Photoshop and Lightroom.

Content Authenticity will launch in public beta in the first quarter of 2025. The tool can be used with a free Adobe account.

According to an Adobe study, 51% of content creators are concerned that their work will be used to train artificial intelligence.
