These remain connected to the content even after a screenshot or removal of metadata because they are based on digital fingerprints, invisible watermarks and cryptographic signatures.

What should also be particularly useful is that users have the option to protect their works from unwanted use in AI training contexts. You can enable the Generative AI Training and Usage Preference, specifying that the work is not available for use or training in a Gen AI context. Such protection and attribution factors are of great interest for artists, but also marketers, in order to give their own and original content the weight it deserves in a sometimes confusing digital market.
