Online video advertising specialist ShowHeroes taps into a new data source that makes things such as viewing time, engagement, interactions and advertising position for connected TV visible.
ShowHeroes Group is expanding its Attention Index Model to connected TV. The company’s customers can get a grip on this type of data thanks to a collaboration with research agency TVision.
Unlike traditional measuring systems TVision detailed insight into viewing behavior. The system accurately records who is in a room, what content is viewed and whether viewers actually show interest.
Ilhan Zengin, CEO of the ShowHeroes Group, says in a press release: “With this model we show advertisers which impressions really make an impact. By looking beyond clicks and conversions, and also including user presence and ad interaction, we help brands improve the quality of attention and avoid unnecessary impressions.”
