After two months of joining, Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Karnaphuli police station officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Monir Hossain has been transferred to Rangpur range.
This order was given in a notification of Police Headquarters Dhaka Personnel Management-2 Branch on Wednesday (November 13).
Before this, on September 11, he was assigned as the OC of Karnaphuli from the West Zone of the Chittagong Metropolitan Intelligence Department.
Before coming to CMP, Monir Hossain served in several police stations in Dhaka, including Inspector (Operation) at DMP’s Kafrul Police Station. He was also in-charge of Chunati police outpost under Lohagra police station of Chittagong district. Mohammad Monir Hossain’s home district is Chandpur.
This time he was transferred to Rangpur range just two months after he was assigned as the OC of Karnaphuli police station.
