RAB-7 has arrested top terrorist Azizul Haque, a fugitive accused in multiple murder and weapons case warrants of Chittagong’s Raujan police station.

RAB-7 claimed that he was arrested after 22 years from Kotwali police station area of ​​the city. Although he was hiding abroad for years, this terrorist returned to the country on August 5 after the student movement.

According to RAB-7, based on secret information, we learned that the fugitive accused under the warrant of Raujan police station, top terrorist Azizul Haque, is staying in front of Hotel Sonali under Kotwali police station of Chittagong; On the basis of such information yesterday, on November 24, a raiding party of RAB-7, Chittagong managed to arrest the accused Azizul Haque by conducting an operation in the said area.

He is the son of Abdul Monaf of North Hingla village of Dabua union of Raujan upazila. Initial interrogation revealed that he is an absconding accused in the murder case mentioned in the source.

He also said that he had been hiding in different places of Chittagong district and metropolis for 22 years to avoid arrest from the law enforcement agencies.

In this context, the second officer of Raujan Police Station, Deputy Inspector Md. Alamgir said that a team of RAB handed over Azizlu Haque to the police station after his arrest. He was later sent to jail when he was produced before the court.

This police officer also claimed that there are several cases against him.
