After a nasty fall, the year-end rebound on the American stock markets

On Monday, the day in Europe started with a fall on the leading stock exchanges and the Budapest Stock Exchange, for example, because OTP was hit after the opening, the bank paper was down by more than 2 percent. Then, by the end of the day, the seller’s pressure eased, and finally the bank paper ended the day and the year at HUF 21,690 down by 0.7%, as it was the last trading day of the year on the Hungarian and most European stock exchanges. In America, the leading stock indices fell by more than 1 percent after the opening, and then in the second half of the day, an upswing began to unfold, a kind of end-of-the-year rally.
