Two months later, BYD is also announcing its partnership with Singing Machine and Stingray, bringing karaoke to its own vehicles, a partnership that will also offer karaoke microphones, as well as a major upgrade to Stingray Karaoke for BYD vehicles. on a global level.
BYD has entered into a strategic partnership with Singing Machine Company, Inc. and Stingray, launching an in-car karaoke microphone that will be available worldwide and fully compatible with the Stingray Karaoke app and BYD vehicle infotainment system.
The new Singing Machine microphones will be manufactured by BYD Electronics and will debut during Christmas events in Brazil and Europe. From early 2025, this feature will be available in an expanding range of BYD vehicles globally. The new partnership will build on an existing agreement with Stingray, which began in 2023 and has already offered the Stingray Karaoke app to millions of BYD customers worldwide.

BYD’s infotainment system will support multiple languages and offer an intuitive user interface. BYD vehicle owners will have access to an extensive international catalog of Stingray songs, searchable by title, artist, lyrics or genre.
For safety reasons, the scrolling of karaoke lyrics on the center console, which are visible to the driver, will be disabled when the vehicle is in motion. In addition, a new app will be available for passengers, which will allow them to use their mobile devices to view the lyrics, select music tracks, while the sound is played through the car’s audio system.
