AGON by AOC released a 34-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor with a wide aspect ratio

The ultrawide novelty coming to AOC’s gaming monitor side is a continuation of the manufacturer’s recent 27- and 32-inch QD-OLED releases.

AGON by AOC, which focuses on AOC’s gaming monitors, has released a new QD-OLED gaming monitor with the model name AGON Pro AG346UCD. The screen has a wider than usual aspect ratio of 21:9 and its curvature is a moderate 1800R, which means that at a viewing distance of 1.8 meters, the edges of the screen are as close to the face as the center. Earlier in the fall, we saw a QD-OLED screen designed together with Porsche Design from AOC with a similar aspect ratio and resolution, but now it is completely the company’s own product with slightly more modest features.

The 34-inch QD-OLED panel of the AG346UCD is equipped with a WQHD resolution of 3440 × 1440 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 175 hertz, judging from what it would be Samsung’s first generation panel. The gray-to-gray response time of the pixels is 0.03 milliseconds, and Adaptive-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro are responsible for synchronizing the refresh rate with games. The screen also has VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification, 10-bit colors and covers 99.3 percent of the DCI-P3 color space.

Ergonomic adjustments in the AG346UCD include height adjustment, swivel and tilt. On the interface side, the screen has one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 connections and three USB connections (3.2 Gen 1). In addition, the screen has built-in eight-watt stereo speakers and an adjustable RGB light ring on the back.

AGON Pro AG346UCD is said to be available by the end of October at a recommended price of 799 euros.
