AGON presents new curved and panoramic monitor for gamers

The AGON PRO AG346UCD is the latest model from monitor specialist AGON by AOC. A good-sized model, quality panel and interesting features for those looking for immersive screens, gamers especially, although it can be used in multimedia or even in editing and content creation

The AGON by AOC model use a type of panel QD-OLED which we are seeing quite a bit in the latest generation high-end monitors. It uses quantum dot technology as an improvement on traditional OLED, to improve high dynamic range, brightness or other level characteristics.

Its size 34 inches diagonal is perfect considering the balance between size and viewing capacity, while its curve with 1800R ratio facilitates immersion and also vision on the sides. Its format is a typical widescreen, with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a native resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels.

As benefits for its use in PC games, it should be noted that the refresh rate of the AGON PRO AG346UCD is 175 Hzwhile its response time drops to 0.03 ms. Supports image sync technology, FreeSync Premium Proand is certified for VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400.

Highlight features that make it useful for other use cases, such as its 10 bit color depth displaying 1.07 billion colors and its wide coverage for cinema-quality sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamuts that creative professionals, streamers and content creators will appreciate. Of course, it has a base for ergonomic adjustments in height, swivel or tilt, and HDMI and Display Port inputs.

The AGON PRO AG346UCD will come with a three-year warranty against OLED panel burn-in and will be available from the end of October with a recommended retail price of £669.99 (around 800 euros).
