Ahmad Diallo has signed a new contract with Manchester United that will keep him at Old Trafford until the summer of 2030.
Ahmad Diallo has agreed a new contract extension to keep him at Manchester United until 30 June 2030.
Sky Sports reported in September that Manchester United wanted to tie the 22-year-old to a new contract. Instead, he used the automatic 12-month extension clause that was included in his original contract.
Ahmad has become a key player for United under the tutelage of Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim after a slow start to his career at Old Trafford. After moving from Atalanta in 2020
I am very proud to sign this new contract. I have had many amazing moments with this club. But there is a lot more to come,’ said Ahmad. ‘I have huge ambitions for this game. And I want to make history with Manchester United.
It has been a difficult season for everyone. But I am fully convinced that we are on the right path. And the future will be very special. I am ready to give everything to help the team and make our fans proud again.
Ahmad’s goals at both the Etihad Stadium and Anfield reinforced his success, as United picked up four points with visits to Manchester City and Liverpool in recent weeks. And now he has put pen to paper on a five-and-a-half year contract to commit his future to the club.
