AJet raises the bar on on-time departure rate

The summer season, which is the busiest in air transportation, is coming to an end.

This year, the serious congestion in European airspace has caused major disruptions throughout the continent and at connecting transportation points throughout the summer season. Despite the long delays and disruptions experienced throughout the summer in Europe, AJet increased its on-time departure rate. AJet, which has a young and dynamic structure, managed to increase its on-time departure rate to 72.7%.

Since the first flights with its new name and identity on March 31, AJet has achieved great success with an on-time departure rate of 72.7%, exceeding last year’s AnadoluJet data by approximately 18%. In operations conducted from Sabiha Gökçen Airport, it has increased its on-time departure rate by 17% compared to the same period last year, bringing its on-time departure rate to 68.3%. According to data announced by Eurocontrol, an aviation organization that conducts measurements and evaluations related to security in European airspace, the on-time departure rate average across Europe this year is 58.8%.
