A few months before its launch, the animated series Dragon Ball Daima is revealed with a new trailer which fully achieves its objective: to increase our impatience.
Dragon Ball Daima: the event series is revealed
The year 2024 was originally supposed to be a year of celebration for all fans of Dragon Ball. Indeed, On November 20th, it will be forty years since the first chapter of Dragon Ball appeared in the Weekly Shōnen Jumpforever marking the history of manga, and more particularly that of shōnen nekketsu, which it will bring into modernity. However, events wanted otherwise, and 2024 suddenly became a year of mourning with the death of the gigantic Akira Toriyama.
However, Despite this tragic death which deprived us of one of the greatest Japanese artists, several events should remind us of him.. First of all, following the airing of the anime earlier this year Sand Land on Disney+, the original manga will appear in a new edition in France at Glénat, around October. In November, Video game fans will be able to play Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake sur Nintendo Switchfor which Toriyama designed the characters like all the games Dragon Quest.
But above all, next October, Toei Animation invites fans of Japanese animation to join them with Dragon Ball Daimathe latest anime created by Akira Toriyama himself. After a first teaser unveiled several months ago, the animated series is offering a promising new trailer.
Like Dragon Ball Super : Super Heroreleased two years earlier, Dragon Ball Daima marks a real return to the sources, with a Son Goku and Z-Warriors who have reverted to childhood. The teaser undeniably bears the Toriyama brand, whose humor and colorful world full of strange aliens are evident. If the silent teaser says nothing about the story, our impatience grows as the fateful date approaches!
So we’ll meet again next October. Let’s not forget that during the same month, the legendary studio MAPPA will launch its next animewhich is a remake of an animated series adored by Club Dorothée fans.
