Alan Barroso’s response to Carvajal after his controversial greeting to Sanchez

We are European champions. And even so, some people can’t stop making fools of themselves. Because while his teammates greet the president like normal people, Carvajal does this: without looking at him and immediately passing by.

It is obvious that he does not like Sánchez. And that is fine. What is curious is that Carvajal is capable of saying that “as a player I stay away from my political ideology” when Mbappé called for an anti-fascist vote against Le Pen and at the same time does this when he greets the president of his country.

If you don’t want to mix politics and football, don’t do it. But for real. And if you do, which is your right, don’t do it with a childish tantrum like this one. Shaking hands while not looking at his face.

Because if you despise him so much, have the guts to not greet him. And be able to position yourself without seeming, in addition to being rude, a coward.

And I thought that being champions of the European Championship would serve to unite us even if it was just a little, but I see that Carvajal doesn’t really want to do that. What can we do?
