Alfa Romeo has released a new video of the 33 Stradale being tested at the Nardo Technical Center. There, it underwent “intense dynamic testing” to ensure the supercar would be able to meet all of its performance targets.
33 Stradale was premiered in August last year and was planned for only 33 lucky owners.
As part of the latest round of testing, the team “monitored and confirmed parameters such as aerodynamics, maximum speed, maximum temperatures and cabin sound insulation.”
The real highlight, however, was the high-speed ride. The company used the 12.6 km track to confirm the car’s top speed of 333 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of less than three seconds. These are impressive numbers made possible by the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that develops more than 462 kW/629 hp. It’s mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, which sends power to the rear wheels via an electronic limited-slip differential.
Deliveries should begin next month, and Alfa Romeo points out that the tests “confirm the ease with which the driver enters into symbiosis with the car, enjoying its power, agility and unmistakable Alfa Romeo sound.”
