Alfa Romeo Giulia as a 570 hp two-seater

Let’s rewind to 2022. That was the year in which the Italian ErreErre Fuoriserie announced that it would make the current Alfa Romeo Giulia look somewhat like its distant ancestor with a heavy body kit and the necessary modifications. In October last year, ErreErre Fuoriserie indeed conjured up a conversion kit for the Giulia out of the hat. A variant of that Giulia ErreErre Fuoriserie has now been devised. This is the Giulia ErreErre Fuoriserie Alleggerita. As its addition in Italian already indicates, this is indeed a lighter variant. ErreErre Fuoriserie is not generous with information, but we know enough to be able to interpret the Alleggerita. Just like the version shown last year, it is an Alfa Romeo Giulia Q with a thoroughly modified exterior. It is loaded with the necessary design elements that refer to the Giulia Tipo 105 from long gone times. The 510 hp 2.9 V6 of the original is good for no less than 570 hp in the ErreErre Fuoriserie models. How does the new Alleggerita variant differ from the version shown last year? It has modified air intakes in the bumper that should ensure better cooling and to save weight the Italians have removed the back seat from the Giulia Q. The whole thing is finished with a carbon fiber part that is apparently beautifully finished with alcantara. In the middle you will find a fire extinguisher. In the buckets next to it you can store your helmet, according to ErreErre Fuoriserie. This is also the only version of the converted Giulia that – for an additional fee – is available with a roll cage. The company does not say how much lighter the Alleggerita is. No back seat. A fire extinguisher, buckets for your helmet and – optionally – a roll cage. In total ErreErre Fuoriserie will convert 33 Giulias. Customers can choose between the car shown last year and this Alleggerita. The conversion is not cheap. For the ‘regular’ version, the company asks €310,000 excluding local taxes, for the Alleggerita no less than €350,000. Then you still have to supply a Giulia Q yourself …
