Alfa Romeo growing on the market in October 2024

The month of October ended on a positive note for Alfa Romeoon the commercial front in Italy. The numbers are growing on all fronts, albeit with very limited progress. However, a trend is strengthening, which encourages the “biscione” managers.

The Milanese car manufacturer achieved increases both in the private segment and in the fleet channel, managed by dealers. On the first front, there was an increase in volumes of 0.25%, compared to the month of September, while in the “fleet by dealer” area the step forward was 0.65% (+0.2% on the same month last year).

The happiest notes, for Alfa Romeo, come from Stelvio. The well-known SUV has seen its market share grow, reaching a penetration rate of 7.6% in its segment in October. This figure is 1.6 percentage points higher than the level reached in September. This was made possible by a transversal growth of the model in the channels in which its commercial distribution takes shape.

In the private sector, the Stelvio achieved a segment share of 5.7%, with an increase of 2.2 percentage points on the previous month. The incidence rate stands at 6% in the “fleet by dealer” sector, where a growth of 1.8% in volumes was recorded. In the long-term rental channel, Alfa Romeo’s D-SUV reached a share of 10.9%, with an increase of 4% on the September reading.

Positive data also comes from Giuliawhich improves the previous month’s performance by 3.3 percentage points, reaching 3.6% of commercial volumes in its segment in October. For the “biscione” sports sedan, the market share in the private channel was 5.6%, with an increase of 2 points compared to September 2024.

The signs coming from the new Alfa Romeo are encouraging Junior. From the moment of launch to today, this has collected more than 3,600 orders in total.
