Alfa Romeo Junior can also be bought in Romania in hybrid form. Prices for the new small class SUV start at 28,000 euros.
The hybrid variant of the new Alfa Romeo Junior, called Ibrida, can also be ordered in Romania. Launched last spring, the small class SUV will also be available in pure electric form.
Alfa Romeo Milano measures 4.17 meters in length, 1.78 meters in length and 1.5 meters in height, being definitely a B-segment SUV. Although it uses the same technical platform as the Jeep Avenger, the Italians took care to design a car completely different, with a design easily recognizable as that of an Alfa Romeo model.
The Italians’ first electric model will be available in two versions with zero emissions, but in addition to these, customers also have a mild-hybrid engine based on a 1.2-liter gasoline unit.
Alfa Romeo Junior Hybrid is also available in Romania
Suggestively named Ibrida, this version of the Junior SUV uses a 1.2 liter petrol engine combined with an electric motor integrated into the six-speed automatic gearbox.
The car is able to move electrically in the city more than 50% of the time; electric driving is guaranteed not only in parking maneuvers or at low speeds in urban areas, but also outside the city, at a reduced load of up to 150 km/h.
Starting today, orders are gradually opening across Europe for the new 136 hp Junior Ibrida, the hybrid version of the Italian SUV. In Romania, the Alfa Romeo Junior 1.2 MHEV 136 HP with 6-speed eDCT transmission and front-wheel drive, Hybrid equipment, has a starting price of 28,028 euros including VAT.
Thus, the Italian model will compete with models such as Peugeot 2008, Renault Captur or Hyundai Kona, all of which are segment B SUVs.
