Align Technologya medical device company that designs, manufactures and markets the Invisalign clear braces system, iTero intraoral scanners and exocad restorative dentistry CAD/CAM software, introduced the iTero Design Suite on July 24, offering clinicians an intuitive way to facilitate designs for 3D printing of models, bite plates and fillings in the doctor’s office.
The latest software innovation is designed to help doctors increase the efficiency of their offices and improve the patient experience by reducing time to treatment through an intuitive way to design for in-office 3D printing. The iTero Design Suite extends Align’s digital platform, which provides an innovative portfolio of customer-focused technologies that enable seamless end-to-end workflows for dentists.
The iTero Design Suite is now available through the Early Access Program. Doctors who use an iTero scanner can submit their interest through their scanner or the MyiTero portal. The software is expected to be available in select markets later this year.
