All-New-Triron Sabet Best Transportation Design

DAPURPACUID – The Mitsubishi All-new Triton has been selected as the winner of the Golden Award at the VMARK Vietnam Design Awards 2024, in the “Best Transportation Design” category.

This is the second time that Mitsubishi Motors has received the award, after the Mitsubishi namely innovation, environmental friendliness, identity, functionality and community. The most outstanding designs receive a Gold Award, and this year, 19 projects were selected as Gold Award winners from a total of 700 entries.

The Triton is a one-ton pickup truck from Mitsubishi Motors which has historical roots from the Forte which was first released in 1978. In the 45 years since then it has sold around 5.7 million units in around 150 countries spanning five model generations.

The Triton was first launched in Thailand – where its production site is located – in July 2023 and was introduced in Japan in February 2024. The All-New Triton was launched sequentially in 100 countries around the world.

At the VMARK Vietnam Design Award 2024, Kazuhiro Watanabe, Division General Manager Sales & Marketing Division, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam Co., Ltd., commented: “This award is proof of our 30 year journey of ‘Driving forward together for Everyday Adventure’ in Vietnam.
