Il 2025 It promises to be a year of great importance for BYD . The Chinese company has promised five new products arriving next year, with an important focus on the plug-in hybrid, as well as on electric models.
A notable offensive for the brand, which aims to increasingly take root in Europe, with a series of cars designed specifically for the needs of the Old Continent. Some of these models have already been announced, others will be presented at a later time, while others are still conceivable. Here, then, is what we expect from BYD in 2025.
Sealion WORLD 7
Sealion 7 was presented in recent weeks and we have already had the opportunity to test it on the road. Architecture-based e-Platform 3.0 designed exclusively for electric models, the Sealion 7 uses Blade batteries developed internally by the brand with LFP technology and capacities of 82.5 kWh and 92.3 kWh.
The most powerful version has two electric motors and all-wheel drive, for a total of 313 HP. Also present is the iTAC (Intelligent Torque Adaption Control) system, which intelligently distributes torque to the four wheels using the power differential.

WORLD Seal 06
Born from the prototype Ocean-M the series model of this BYD should be called Seal 06 . It is a rather generous two-volume in size, with 4.63 m in length and a wheelbase of 2.82 m. It will be proposed as electric, but could also arrive in a plug-in hybrid version.
Very little is known about her also in terms of power and performance. THE prices ? In China they should start around 25,000 euros, but in Europe we expect a higher price list.

BYD Yangwang U8
BYD could also bring the Yangwang brand, the luxury brand of the Chinese company, to Italy. Among the first models, there could be the U8, a large plug-in hybrid SUV equipped with a 2.0 turbo petrol engine and four electric motors, one on each wheel.
In total, the U8 delivers 1.200 CV and is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.
