Safari is getting a makeover with tools that help you manage information faster and more securely, thanks to machine learning!
Starting with iOS 18, Safari, Apple’s browser is revamped with tools that help you find the information you need more quickly and easily. The updates rely on machine learning and artificial intelligence, but are not part of Apple Intelligence capabilities. That means that Safari improvements will be available on all devices compatible with iOS 18.
Several of the new features announced during the presentation of iOS 18 at WWDC24 have already been tested in the available beta versions. Safari’s Reader Mode receives an update that makes it easier to read long articles. Now, you can find a table of contents to quickly navigate through the text and get a quick summary of the key points. Some essential functions, such as “Add to Reading List” or “Download PDF” are now available directly from the Safari toolbar.
Design changes
Safari gets a makeover in iOS 18 with a more intuitive and organized design. Apple has implemented changes to the tools accessed from the URL bargiving you a more efficient and personalized browsing experience.
