Culture news. The popular actor Allan Svensson has died after a long illness. His passing is confirmed by the family, who announce that he fell asleep peacefully, Aftonbladet reports. Svensson was 73 years old.
Allan Svensson broke through in the 1970s as Erik in the TV series Hedebyborna. He later became one of Sweden’s most loved actors through his iconic role as the postman Gustav Svensson in the comedy series “Svensson, Svensson”. The series was a monumental success and attracted millions of Swedes in front of the television sets.
