After the arrest of Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, it was claimed that trustee Can Aksoy also dismissed the deputy mayors.
Making a statement in front of the municipality building, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik said, “Deputy Mayors Oktay Kılıç, Osman Yalçın and Murat Düzgün were notified by the trustee that their duties have been terminated.” he said.
‘You do not let the member of parliament in, you are committing a crime’
Çelik said about what happened, “If you don’t let the citizens in, you don’t let the elected council member in, you are committing a crime. Some people cannot think that this country is their father’s property. “No one can make a civil servant of this country commit a crime,” he reacted.
