Alleged Ryzen 9800X3D Benchmark Reveals Max Clock of 5687 MHz and 25K in Cinebench R23

After yesterday’s leak of the documentation of the new MaxSun motherboards, the first benchmark of the expected AMD Ryzen 9800X3D is also reaching the Internet, at least that’s what user Igor Kavinski claims on the AnandTech forum.

For example, CPU-Z only describes the processor as AMD Ryzenbut the information was picked up, for example, by the foreign magazine VideoCardz, which claims that it could be an Engineering Sample, i.e. a test piece that is not intended for sale. However, information should still be taken with a grain of salt.

Regarding the benchmark itself – the processor with Precision Boost Overdrive recorded a maximum frequency of 5687.53 MHz in the Cinebench R23 test, thereby surpassing earlier estimates. In total, the processor scored 2261 in the single-core test and 25258 in the multi-core test. As VideoCardz mentions, the 7800X3D with PBO can handle scores up to 19k points, the 9700X up to 23k points.

With the official announcement looming, the leak bag has apparently been torn open, so more information should be coming our way soon.
