Almost 150 interventions by mountain rescuers: 150 people were saved
The mountain rescuers received, on Saturday, 146 calls, the most in Predeal. In the case of these interventions, 150 people were saved. Of these, 62 were handed over to the Ambulance Service or SMURD for transport to the hospital, and one was handed over to the SMURD helicopter.

“Once again, a day with many interventions for mountain rescuers from the whole country! In the last 24 hours, the Salvamont National Dispatch received 146 calls requesting the emergency intervention of the rescuers”, announced Salvamont.
The most calls were received by Salvamont Predeal (14) and Salvamont Voineasa (12). Salvamont Bihor, Salvamont Cluj, Salvamont Lupeni, Salvamont Sinaia received ten calls each.
“In the case of these interventions, 150 people were saved. Of these, 62 were handed over to the Ambulance Service or SMURD for transport to the hospital and one was handed over to the SMURD helicopter for transport to the hospital. Other injured people, some with fractures, refused to be transported by ambulances, arriving at hospitals in their relatives’ cars. 68 calls were also received requesting advice and information about different tourist routes in the mountain area and ski areas.
