Alpine has a new supercar in the works which is being developed from the new research and development unit at the Formula 1 engine factory in Viry-Chatillon.
The supercar is expected to be purely electric and will use Alpine’s solid-state batteries designed for “extreme operating conditions for supercar-type applications.”
It will also adopt highly efficient electric motors developed jointly with Ampere—Renault’s new EV and software sub-brand. In terms of styling, the new supercar will resemble the Alpenglow Hy4 concept.
