Alpine F1 Team will use a special graphic for the 2024 Belgian Grand Prix. The livery is inspired by the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie.
The Alpine Formula 1 team is preparing for the next stage, which will take place in Belgium at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. On this occasion, the team prepared a special livery for the A524 single-seater, which was inspired by the movie Deadpool & Wolverine, given that Ryan Reynolds, the actor in the lead role, owns shares in this team.
The new graphic is an advertisement for this new film and replaces the team’s traditional colors. Red reigns supreme thanks to the color of the suit that Deadpool wears, and the claws on the engine cover are a reference to Wolverine, the character played by Hugh Jackman.
Alpine is not doing very well in 2024
This season has not been too kind to the French team. Alpine started this season with the slowest car and has only 9 points accumulated by the halfway point of the season, currently sitting 8th in the constructors’ standings.
This year, the favorite for the title remains Max Verstappen, but the battle in the constructors’ standings is intensifying, as teams such as McLaren and Mercedes have made up the deficit to Red Bull, which complicates things for the Austrian team.
In the first part of this season we had a completely different situation than last year, when Red Bull dominated the competition. Now, no less than 7 different drivers have won a race in the first 13 rounds.
The Belgian Grand Prix will take place this weekend. The race will start on Sunday, July 28, at 16:00, Romanian time.
