Nissan e-Power: unique hybrid technology

In Europeit was in 2022 that e-Power engines appeared on the been sold on the Old Continent since their launch.
The Nissan e-Power hybrid technology is unique on the market: it uses a gasoline engine and a lithium-ion battery to power an electric motor, and it is only the latter which alone drives the wheels of the car. This makes it possible to offer the driving experience of an electric vehicle, with sharp acceleration and the smoothness and silence of operation, while preserving the advantages of a thermal engine in everyday life.
Indeed, the main advantage is the time saving : no need to waste hours recharging your battery, like with an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle. All it takes is a simple full tank of fuel to operate the e-Power engine.

Across the Atlantic, Nissan will launch e-Power engines in the United States and Canadaby the end of 2026.
