Amazon and Intel sent US stock markets into a tailspin

US stocks rebounded higher on Friday, led by Amazon and Intel, despite a weak labor market report showing job gains.

The S&P 500 advanced 0.41%, the Nasdaq Composite 0.8% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average 0.69%. The bounce saw indexes recoup some of this week’s losses, but all three indexes ended the week in the red, with the S&P 500 down 1.37%, the Nasdaq down 1.5% and the Dow down 0.15%.
