Amazon has resumed drone deliveries in Phoenix

Amazon is still seeing profit drone delivery. A few months after the end of the Prime Air delivery program in California, orders are now being delivered via drones in Phoenix, Arizona.

Starting this week, Amazon customers in the West Valley Phoenix Metro Area will have access to selections of items, including home and office supplies.

In total this concerns 50,000 items that do not weigh more than 2 kilos.

Orders are delivered within the hour from the Tolleson departure point, but in bad weather the drones remain on the ground.

Amazon is using its newest delivery drone, the MK30, which was recently approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.
