AMD is doing well worldwide, ruling the list of best-selling CPUs

The ranking of the TOP 10 best-selling processors on Amazon is completely dominated by AMD. Compared to Intel, the company also manages to dominate various world markets.

AMD is consolidating its position in processor sales, currently completely dominating the top ten best-selling CPUs on Amazon. The greatest interest is in the older models of the AM4 architecture, especially the Ryzen 7 5700X, which is now sold for only $130. This position of AMD is also confirmed by other global stores, such as Newegg, where the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is at the top of sales. Intel still holds onto some significant positions, but the gap is widening.

Not even discounts and promotions could help Intel. The Core i5 13600KF, once a favorite in the top 10, fell all the way to 12th place, despite dropping its price to $175. On the other hand, AMD offers an aggressive pricing policy and there is more and more interest in its chips. Be it the newer Zen 5, the older Zen 4, or even the Zen 3.

Amazon’s Best Selling CPU Rankings

In various European markets, for example in Germany, AMD even achieves a 94% share of sales, while Intel barely sells tens of units. It is similar in Asian markets, for example in South Korea AMD has acquired the majority of the desktop processor market. The situation looks dire for Intel, and if they don’t introduce competitive products soon, AMD could gain an even bigger lead.
