Explosive scenario forwarded by an American admiral. The US must prepare for a direct confrontation with China, which could take place in the year 2027.

This hypothesis emerged as China continues to develop strongly economically and militarily, and Western concern about the possibility of a violent invasion of Taiwan by the Beijing regime is growing. Admiral Lisa Franchetti, the chief of naval operations, announced this week a plan to manage the relationship with China from a military perspective.

The deadline for a possible US vs. China

Franchetti claims that the main motivation behind the plan was to “prioritize increasing our level of preparedness for a potential conflict with the People’s Republic of China by 2027,” according to Business Insider.

Franchetti admitted that the US has other adversaries, such as Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah, but first of all, it should consider China.

“By 2027, the Navy will be more ready for sustained combat. Prioritizing the People’s Republic of China as a pace challenge and focusing on expanding the Navy’s contribution to the joint combat ecosystem,” the official added.
