Amorphis entered the studio to record his fifteenth studio album with the producer Jacob Hansen. According to the band: “Greetings from windy Denmark! We are here, recording our 15th studio album Amorphis s Jacob Hansen as a producer. This time we want to change our usual formula a bit and explore new productive nuances. It’s inspiring to be here, and the next few months will show how Amorphis to sound in 2025.”
In a previous interview for Loud TVkeyboardist Amorphis Santeri Kallio talked a little about the timeline of the new album: “I would say that by the end of the year we will probably have most of the instruments recorded. I think the album is planned to be released next year, in the fall or something like that, because it takes time to promote and prepare everything. Honestly, we don’t have an exact release date yet, of course. But I’d say the album will be finished by winter — recorded, mixed and mastered, probably by March at the latest, maybe as early as February. It’s still a little bit open for us.”
