An ambulance overturned, five people were injured in the accident

Five people were injured in the accident during which an ambulance overturned on Sunday afternoon in Budapest on the XV. in the district – the communications manager of the National Ambulance Service told MTI.

Vinczeffy Levente, the press officer of the Budapest Police Headquarters (BRFK), told MTI that a car collided with an ambulance blaring its sirens at the intersection of Apolló Street and Késmárk Street. The ambulance overturned and the passengers were injured.

According to Pál Győrfi, the communications manager of the National Ambulance Service, the ambulance unit was alerted to a feeling of unwellness, and the ambulance used distinguishing signals when it collided with the passenger car.

Three members of the ambulance crew and the woman and man traveling in the car suffered bruises, all of them were taken to the hospital, the communications manager wrote in his statement.
