A future BMW GS motorcycle accessible to A2 licenses

The BMW Concept F 450 GS motorcycle from BMW Motorrad is dressed in a blue, white and red livery with the metallic Racing Blue color as a base, as with the Trophy style of the BMW R 1300 GS, synonymous with performance, dynamic and off-road character.
“What was particularly important to us in the development of the new BMW Concept F 450 GS was to achieve the best handling in the segment and combine it with remarkable performance and optimal accessibility. Driving pleasure on and off-road is a top priority for this BMW GS A2”explains Sepp Mächler, Product Manager at BMW Motorrad.
Meeting class A2, the twin-cylinder engine online provides power 47.5 horsepower (35 kW), and was developed from scratch: it stands out for its character and its ability to rev up. BMW Motorrad used lightweight materials, such as magnesium, to contain its weight for the benefit of performance.

On the chassis side, the BMW Concept F 450 GS aims to offer excellent off-road capabilities, as well as agile and precise behavior on the road. It was therefore equipped with a inverted fork fully adjustable, as well as a load-dependent shock absorber, inspired by the technology used in rally-raid and enduro.
According to BMW Motorrad, it displays an excellent displacement/power ratio, as well as a contained weight thanks to the use of lightweight constructions and cutting-edge materials, which have made it possible to remain close to the minimum required weight of 175 kg for the category A2while offering a light and high-performance motorcycle.
The BMW Concept F 450 GS also features numerous safety equipmentsuch as BMW Motorrad PRO ABS, high-performance brakes, or even a configurable riding mode selector. The 6.5-inch TFT screen also offers on-board BMW connectivity possibilities, allowing you to connect your smartphone and other accessories.

The production model of the BMW Concept F 450 GS is expected to be revealed in 2025.
