An intercity bus collided with a car

A scheduled bus and a car collided on road 65 near Tamási on Wednesday, the road was closed in its entire width – he announced on the website of the police.

According to eyewitnesses, two people were traveling in the car, a younger passenger was sitting next to the elderly driver.

Motorists waiting at the scene of the accident said that they could have been more seriously injured because an ambulance helicopter and three ambulances had also arrived at the scene.

Firefighters used tension cutters to free them. The driver of the car moved into the opposite lane for an unknown reason. The driver of the bus tried to avoid the collision, but failed: the two vehicles crashed into each other with great force – he wrote and the Theol.

In the accident at kilometer 41 of the road, two passengers each of the bus and the car were injured, Anett Komlósiné Kiss, spokesperson of the Tolna County Police Headquarters, told MTI.

According to the headquarters, the site can be avoided from both directions on the Regöly-Keszőhidegkút-Belecska-Pincehely route.
