Google will release Android 15 for Pixel smartphones on October 15, website reports Android Headlines. We already knew that the update would be released next month, but the release date was unknown. That is now changing. Android 15, like its predecessor – Android 14 – will be released relatively late in the year.
Google normally rolls out the latest Android versions on a Monday, but the search giant has chosen to do so on a Tuesday this time, as October 14 is a memorial day in the United States. The date may still change if, for example, new bugs emerge.

‘Samsung Galaxy A56 in the making: finally a smooth chip’
The Samsung Galaxy A series is incredibly popular because of its good price-quality ratio. The A55 that was released earlier this year is equipped with an Exynos 1480 chip. That processor is fine for everyday tasks and more powerful than its predecessor, but not a speed demon. The chip in the Galaxy A56 seems to make a big upgrade in that area.
The alleged chip in the smartphone is the Exynos 1580 and it was leaked earlier this year in online benchmarks. It shows that the chip has become significantly faster. So fast that it can match the Snapdragon 888 – the top chip from 2022.

Android Automotive is getting a major update, website discovered Android Authority. Although Google has not yet officially unveiled Android Automotive 15, its major new features have been revealed.
In Android Automotive 15 it is possible to connect a wireless bluetooth headset to the operating system. It was already possible to connect a phone to Automotive to stream music, but now this also works ‘the other way around’.
