Android Auto is getting a new music player. Take a look at how it looks

The popular Android Auto tool recently received a significant update to version 13.4, in which, using Material You changed into a more modern coat. In addition to extensive color changes, thanks to which the service begins to more closely mimic the environment of your smartphone, it received redesigned music player.

The server saw the news, which is directly part of the already mentioned update 9to5Google. The player used by streaming platforms has not changed much since last year, however now comes with a changed face. You can now find the album preview on the left side with the track title and artist next to it in relatively small font. Below this data is a long progress bar which allows easy navigation in the currently playing music.

The lower part of the screen is dedicated to the control buttons, which adapt to the full width of the display, but otherwise it has not changed much. It can also be noticed using the new Android Auto font.

Android Auto could soon finally get a feature for local media playback and support for FM and AM radio stations. Mentions of them first appeared several months ago.
