Angelina Jolie returns to the Golden Globes with a totally metallic outfit: “spectacular”

One of Angelina Jolie’s most memorable moments at the Golden Globes dates back to 1999, when she was nominated for her performance in the miniseries Gia and won her first statuette. She did it dressed in a tight dress adorned with hundreds of silver sequins. On that occasion she posed alone at the photocall.

Twenty-six years later, she has dazzled again with a long-sleeved Alexander McQueen design with shiny rhinestones in metallic tones. A dress that she herself has referred to as a “very comfortable” suit and with which she defends a nomination in the Drama category for her role in María Callas, a biopic of the famous opera singer.

In addition, Jolie debuted a new look after her divorce from Brad Pitt became final after an eight-year legal battle. She did it last Friday night with new bangs while attending the Palm Springs Film Festival Awards. The Maleficent star reappeared on the red carpet with her daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 19.

That same night Jolie collected the Desert Palm Achievement Award for her critically acclaimed performance as opera singer Maria Callas in Netflix’s Maria. The actress chose a fitted black dress with a halter neck for the occasion while her daughter wore a white dress with an asymmetrical neckline.
