Anger when Jews accuse Riks of anti-Semitic hoax

Media. The journalist Roger Sahlström, who is connected to the SD channel Riks, announces that he will not report any more on anti-Semitism. This after Riks has been accused from the Jewish side of having spread “misinformation” about attacks by pro-Palestinian demonstrators.

“Now I intend to stop reporting on anti-Semitism and Jew-hatred. When those who are attacked start lying about my reporting, they can go to hell.”

So writes Riks employee and alternative media profile Roger Sahlström in a post on X.

He has attached a message from the Jewish congregation in Stockholm’s newsletter that deals with “disinformation and influence campaigns”. There, the Jewish Central Council and the company Jewish Security (JSS) announce that they “became aware of increased influence attempts from the extreme right”.

An example is mentioned: the Sweden Democrats’ Youtube investment Riks, which recently released a clip which was stated to show how a Palestine activist threw an Israeli flag into the Stream during the memorial day for Kristallnacht at Gustav Adolfs Torg in Stockholm.

In the Jewish congregation’s newsletter, it is presented as if Riks deliberately spread false information. It emphasizes that no commemoration took place at the site on this occasion, and states that the person whose Israeli flag was thrown into the water was not a Jew but a person who was also seen cycling around with Iranian flags and “moved in far-right anti-Semitic environments”.

It is stated in the newsletter that “no Jews were attacked” on the occasion. Jews are also warned that there “may be a good reason why” a particular piece of news “is not seen in established media”.

“I have zero tolerance for idiocy,” writes Roger Sahlström himself, and makes it clear that he will not reconsider his decision to stop reporting on anti-Semitism.
