Angolan airline TAAG targeted by cyber attack – Angola

A Angolan airline TAAG announced this Tuesday that your infrastructure was the target of a cyber attack, which affected some local servers. He assured, however, that the operator’s operations were not affected.

In a statement, TAAG said it had registered a cyber attack on its technological infrastructure, with some services based on “on-premises” (local servers) showing disruption.

According to the administration, the company’s operations were not affectedand the company continues to comply with operational safety rules, being “duly authorized” by national and international air regulations.

The Angolan state operator highlights that, following the attack, the contingency plan was activated and that the information technology department is working on normalizing the services that were affected.

Without specifying the consequences and services affected, TAAG adds that it is guaranteeing the continuity of the operation, ensuring the general scheduling of flights and respective services, as well as the functionality of issuing reservations and tickets.

The incident that occurred has already been reported to the competent authorities, the statement also states.
