Anika Alam wants to shine the face of the country on the world stage

Bangladesh is going to participate in ‘Miss Universe’ this year after a gap of three years. Anika Alam will represent Red Green in this event. He has already been finalized through selection to represent this event

The organizing organization Flora Entertainment said this information in a press conference organized on Sunday afternoon.

Flora Entertainment Managing Director Mustafa Rafiqul Islam said, Anika Alam is not just an international makeup artist, she is a strong voice in women empowerment, a dedicated mother. He holds a degree in political science from Loyola Marymind University and worked in the Los Angeles mayor’s office.

Currently working closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, especially Zero Hunger.

When asked how they are participating in Miss Universe as ‘Mrs.’ Shafiqul Islam, country director of the event, said that unmarried people have been participating for the past 70 years. But from 2023 Miss Universe authorities have made new rules that married people can also participate. Earlier the age limit was 28, now it is not.

Anika Alam said in the press conference, I am already working on women’s empowerment. In the future, I will work to bring the talent and positive change of women in socially important issues. If we get everyone’s support, we can shine the face of the country on the world stage. I want to pray to the countrymen that I can present Bangladesh correctly on the world stage.

He also said that I did not know that I will participate in this event even a few days ago. Since I am participating, I will surely return with something good. I will come back from here and work on women empowerment. I didn’t think about acting outside of it.

Miss Universe 2024 will be held in Mexico. Anika will leave Dhaka on October 30 to participate there. The grand finale is scheduled to be held on November 15 or 18.

It was informed in the press conference that the event of Miss Universe has been canceled this year to pay respect to the martyrs of the July movement and to stand by the victims of the recent floods. Miss Universe Bangladesh has announced a donation of Tk 5 lakh to help those injured in the floods and the July movement.
