In Fatikchari of Chittagong, a regional highway was slaughtered and blood was shed. This scene can be seen in Baroyarhat area of Chittagong-Khagrachari regional highway yesterday Thursday.
Locals said that road accidents are happening one after another in Baroyarhat area of Chittagong-Khagrachari regional highway. To prevent loss of life, the locals slaughtered animals on the road and poured blood. Before this, animals were slaughtered at the initiative of expatriates. Apart from this, the organizers distributed Tabaruk for Khatme Koran, Milad Mahfil and orphans.
Yunus Khan Rubel, one of the organizers said, besides praying for God’s satisfaction, this event is organized to create awareness about driving at low speed, obeying traffic laws and crossing the road.
