OR Warner Bros. Animation and the DC Studios are developing a new animated film titled “Dynamic Duos” which will be shown in theaters and will star Dick Grayson and Jason Todd. Both have taken on the role of Robin, Batman’s well-known sidekick.
The co-CEO of DC Studios, James Gunn, announced the project through his Instagram account, noting that it is the first collaboration between DC and Warner Bros. Animation. New Orleans studio Swaybox, which combines CGI, stop-motion and live-action techniques, also participates in the production.
THE Arthur Mintz will direct the film, from a script by Matthew Aldrich. In DC history, Jason Todd became Robin after Dick Grayson, who left Batman to lead the Teen Titans. In this film, both will be Robin, training together to defend Gotham with the help of Batman.
Matt Reeves, director of “The Batman,” will produce, but the film will take place in a different timeline than his version of the hero. The film is part of the new era of films that Gunn and Safran are preparing from 2022.
