Ankuk Pharmaceuticals Holds Lunch with Seminar for Employees

(Health Korea News / Lee Chang-yong) Ankuk Pharmaceutical announced on the 26th that it will hold a ‘Lunch with Seminar’ for employees every month starting in July to create a healthy organizational culture.

On April 29, Ankuk Pharmaceutical moved its headquarters from Daerim-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul to Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town, Galhyeon-dong, Gwacheon-si. On the 22nd of this month, the staff of the former Central Research Institute in Guro-gu, Seoul also joined the headquarters.

As all employees except for the production headquarters work in one place, Ankuk Pharmaceutical is securing a channel for smooth communication with members of other departments and promoting various organizational culture activities to increase satisfaction in work life. As part of this, it operates a ‘Lunch with Seminar’ (a form of lunch and seminar combined) every month.

The theme of the ‘Lunch with Seminar’ is set to a practical topic that can help employees’ healing or help their lives. The theme of the seminar held in July was ‘Healing and Concentration Enhancement through Meditation’. A meditation expert was invited and 24 Ankuk Pharmaceutical employees had a meditation experience.

The theme of the ‘Lunch with Seminar’ to be held in August was ‘The right way to invest for office workers.’ The company explained that the interest among employees was very high, with applications closing within an hour of the announcement.

An official from Ankuk Pharmaceutical said, “We are working to enrich the work life of our employees in line with the physical change of the office relocation,” and “We plan to continue to improve the welfare of our employees and increase their job satisfaction through continuous organizational culture activities.”
